A review of patient satisfaction on cosmetic outcomes for the surgical treatment of onychocryptosis.
Constructively appraise quantitative and qualitative research, identifying issues of validity, reliability, credibility, generalisability and applicability to clinical practice
Develop and construct a literature review of an approved topic relevant to podiatric practice
Literature reviews should always be systematic in their approach regardless of their size. A lack of a systematic approach can result in bias and subsequent skewed results.
Your literature review should not be a narrative review but neither can it be a full systematic review due to the very limited word count.
Essentially, it needs to be based on, and structured around, the positive and quality aspects of a systematic review (taking a systematic approach) but without so much detail.
