Each student is required to complete the term project, which is a 15-20 page (not counting the cover, abstract and reference page) research paper in proper APA 7th format. In preparation for the paper, students will submit a thesis statement, an annotated bibliography, and a rough draft.
Proofread final paper carefully for spelling, punctuation, missing or duplicated words. Make the effort to ensure that your final paper is clean, tidy, neat, and attractive and is in proper APA 7th format. Be sure to have your final paper ready a day or two before the deadline. This gives you peace of mind and a chance to triple check. Before handing in your assignment for marking, ask yourself: “Is this the VERY BEST that I can do?”

* Abstract (150 words) this is a short and specific summary of the paper
* Introduction –this section introduces the topic to the reader from historical, academic, and previous research perspective
* Thesis Statement
* Research Question- this section develops a research question from the thesis statement.
* Problem Statement –this section states why there is a problem which needs new research/thesis
* Purpose Statement- this section states the purpose of the research which needs new research/thesis

* Hypothesis- this section formulates a hypothesis based upon the thesis , problem, and purpose statements.

* Definitions –this section provides specific definitions for terms in the paper not recognized by the reader.
* Academic Discussion
Academic examination and discussion of the subject matter. This is your argument for the new research as needed in the existing literature. This section is where you compare, contrast, and integrate/synthesize the peer-reviewed articles reviewed for the new topic. You discuss the pros and cons of previous research from peer-reviewed articles to show why your thesis is needed be explored. You make the case for your research/thesis in this section with academic support.
* Conclusion
This section provides academic support , theoretical rationale, and peer-reviewed article/research method for the thesis. Summarize and discuss your findings toward inform and persuade the reader for the thesis topic.

This is the template for the thesis paper. The Bold Titles are the headings for the paper. Use direct research in all sections of the paper except for the title page and abstract.
