Health education is a key component of your health promotion initiative in Accomack County. This week you will assess the health literacy of the community. In the Google Doc you created in Case Study 1.1: The Accomack County Challenge, add a new section titled Health Literacy that answers the following questions.

  1. What is the health literacy of this population?
  2. How did you determine this?
  3. What are some appropriate evidence-based, health education strategies for your target population? (Please describe.)
