Although separated by both vast distances and numerous differences, both the Roman Republic/Roman Empire and the Chinese civilizations of the Qin/Han/Six Dynasties periods have left a lasting legacy still felt today. Is this influence the only thing they have in common, though? Compose an essay discussing what other similarities existed between the ancient Roman and Chinese states, whether that be features of their organization, the processes of their formation and/or collapse, etc.

The essay should utilize information drawn from the history textbook “WORLD TOGETHER, WORLD APART SIXTH EDITION, VOLUME 1 by Jeremy Adelinal, Elizabeth Pollard, and Robert Tignor” FROM CHAPTER 7,8 and 9 ONLY as evidence to support the central arguments. At least three distinct pieces of evidence-different events, people, places, developments, etc. should be used. CITATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL EVIDENCE
