Study Design

The sample size will consist of 80 to 100 participants from low-income, low-literacy populations in Zimbabwe.

Data Collection and Analysis Semi-structured interviews will be conducted, following an interview guide designed to explore participants’ knowledge, perceptions, and experiences regarding public health education on Type II Diabetes.
Interviews will be audio-recorded and transcribed for thematic analysis.
Quantitative data may also be collected through survey questionnaires to supplement the qualitative findings.
Ethical Considerations
This study will adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring informed consent, confidentiality, and voluntary
participation. The research proposal will be submitted for ethical review and approval by the relevant institutional review board.
Significance and Expected Outcomes
