Objective: Practice the annotation skills you learned in the “Annotations” handout from the Course Handbook.
Instructions:
- Read “Mother Tongue” by Amy Tan.
- Read the “Annotation” handout from the Course Handbook.
- Annotate at least one full page from Amy Tan’s “Mother Tongue” using the instructions from the “Annotation” handout. You should mark up the text in at least three (3) different ways.
- Complete the two-page “Annotation” handout.
- Submit the entire assignment (including BOTH your annotation of “Mother Tongue” AND your completed annotation handout) by uploading PDFs or taking photos or screenshots and then uploading the images.
