For your journal entry this week, you need to consider how your state addresses specific areas of social work practice.  In your journal response, be sure to address:

Family law such as adoption requirements, removal of parental rights, and child support requirements.
Differences in legal standards in different types of work settings (e.g. working in hospitals versus working in corrections).
Legal standards for social workers such as involuntary hospitalizations and reporting potentially dangerous clients.
Length: 2-4 pages
