There are a number of good tools at your disposal for conducting research for the paper. One of
which is your textbook. Beyond that, the links provided below may also prove helpful.
Avalon Project – Documents in Law, History, and Diplomacy (yale.edu)
The Yale Avalon project contains primary sources relating to many relevant topics and may
prove useful for your paper.
Databases (mscc.edu)
The linked database above provided by the college contains links to many different websites
containing scholarly articles and full texts. To utilize many of these databases, you must login
with your Motlow credentials.
Can you turn in a rough draft of the essay?
In short, yes you can. While I will not indicate that you will be making an A, I am willing to tell
you if you are “heading in the right direction” regarding format, sources used, and other general
information critical to a successful paper. If you wish to turn in a rough draft, it must be sent to
me via email no later than a week before the deadline.
