The book Bans, Walls, Raids, Sanctuary: Understanding U.S. Immigration for the Twenty-First Century by A. Naomi Paik is a new selection for the course this year. Together we will evaluate how it fits within the curriculum of his course, supports your understanding of immigration policy and public discourse, and in what ways it provides meaningful connections to your personal immigrant experiences.
