Case Study #1

Learning Goal: I’m working on a health & medical multi-part question and need the explanation and answer to help me learn.

Consider the case study below and answer the questions found in a separate document called, “Case Study #1 questions”. Please, when you make your answers, write the question and then answer the question underneath so that they can be graded more easily. There is no recommended length for your answers but as we are at the university, it would be considered insufficient if you did not explain your answers to some extent. If your answers are too short and to the point, they do not demonstrate your understanding of the subject. Please do not forget to look at the audiogram that is provided as a separate file below.

References are needed for all questions. Most of the references you provide will likely be websites but a few of the questions are better answered with journal articles. Please list your reference for a particular question right after the question, not on a separate page. You will use APA citations for your references. Upload your work to this assignment page either as a word document or as a PDF file.

I also strongly suggest that if you do not understand how to read an audiogram, please watch this YouTube video for a brief explanation:

Some of the answers willeasily determined from your reading and others will need more thought on your part. As you read the material contained in the text and lecture notes, you will need to think about what you know about the person in the case and make decisions concerning how you would help this person.
    2. A case study rubric is provided under each Case Study tab.Suggestions for finding references may be through Google Scholar, USU library system, local library, textbook, lectures/power points, etc.
    3. There is no specific font or spacing required for the case studies, but typically Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double-spaced is easiest to read. No specific length, but make sure to cover all the material thoroughly. Please include a cover page and references should be provided in APA format after each question.
