Choose a story from your early/middle childhood and reflect on how it would be viewed from two of the developmental theories listed: Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory, Behaviorism, Piaget or the Sociocultural Perspective (Vygoskty)

Choose one story from your early or middle childhood and reflect on how it would be viewed from two of the developmental theories listed below. These questions are meant as guidelines and if you do not think they all apply to your story, you do not need to answer them. I do want to feel as if you have carefully applied the theory to the fullest possible extent.
Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory: Tell me what was happening at each level of your ecological system. What was your microsystem, exosystem, macrosystem and chronosystem? Were there any mesosystem interactions? How would a change at one or more of those levels have changed your developmental trajectory in the long term (either positively or negatively)?
Behaviorism: For this prompt, I want you to focus on why you engaged in the behavior you did.
Was it due to classical conditioning or operant conditioning? Maybe it could have been a combination of both? Walk me through what was the conditioned and unconditioned stimulus.
Did you receive modeling in this behavior from someone else? How would you intervene from a behaviorist perspective to change this behavior?
Piaget: Focus on what was happening at a cognitive level for you. What stage of thinking were you in during this story? Did you have a schema for the world that needed to be adjusted? Did you engage in any accommodation or assimilation? What else would Piaget have expected from you at this age? Did you meet those expectations or were you the exception to the rule?
Sociocultural Perspective (Vygoskty): What was within your zone of proximal development during this stage and how were you scaffolded (or not) within that zone? Vygotsky was also interested in differences between cultures. How did the culture in which you were raised impact your behavior in this story? How was cultural information passed on to you socially? How do you think someone from another culture might have experienced this event?
Please DO NOT disclose a difficult or traumatic story from vour childhood. I am interested in your skill at applying the theories to your own experiences.
You will be graded on your ability to
* Tell a coherent story
* Correctly explain the theory you have chosen and any terms associated with it
* Thoughtfully apply the theory to your story
* Accomplish the previous three with clear writing and minimal typos and grammar errors
