  • The question requires you to bring in relevant theories/models / theoretical models and relevant empirical evidence. The question already includes two theories/models. Note the plural “theoretical models” (not the singular ‘theory’ etc.). The question require you to have brought in a range of relevant empirical evidence/findings in addition.
  • Make sure your focus is on psychology. In particular, make sure your focus is on cognitive psychology – for example, you do not want to be too biology focused. Some studies may involve brain damaged patients or methods that investigate brain activity and/or structure in addition, for example, so there could be a risk of being biology/biopsychology focused here, if having included such studies, you should have kept the focus on any cognitive tasks / experiments / behavioural measures (e.g., accuracy, number of items recalled, recognition, reaction times) also involved, and thought about what the research means in terms of cognitive psychology, cognitive theory and the question being posed.
