- In death penalty cases, the Bible requires that a person be convicted only upon the testimony of two or more eyewitnesses. In the United States, as long as all requirements of the Constitution are satisfied, a person can be sentenced to death upon the testimony of one eye witness or even no eyewitnesses when the circumstantial evidence is strong enough.
- Should due process for the death penalty to be imposed include that the crime must be witnessed by two or more people?
- Would that make the imposition of the death penalty more just? Why do you so think?
