Describe what the readiness for change construct is and how it relates to organizational change.

Once you have read the case study (Pizza Perfect Case Study.pdf.), write an essay that addresses the following three items:


  1. Describe what the readiness for change construct is and how it relates to organizational change. In the case study, what readiness assessment, if any, was conducted and how did it influence the overall change initiative described in the case study?
  2. Describe what the organizational capacity for change construct is and how it relates to organizational change. In the case study, what was the organizational capacity for change originally like in the organization and what specific things did the owner do to try and make the company more change-capable?
  3. Describe the relationship between readiness for change and organizational capacity for change. In your explanation, be sure to reference how they may be similar, different, and/or complementary to one another. In the case study how did these constructs contribute to the success or failure of the four-day workweek initiative? In your explanation, be sure to reference the challenges during the implementation, from the perspective of both the owner and employees of the organization.
