Description: For your final project, you will write the first two steps in what is known as a research proposal. This will be the beginning of the process for designing a complete research experiment. You will not collect any data. Your written paper will include the following steps:
Step 1 – In week 1 you will choose the research question that you are going to use to develop your experiment. Next, you will write your hypothesis and identify the independent and dependent variables. This will be submitted as part of your Week 1 assignment.
Step 2 – You will write the introduction section to set your readers up for what you will be covering within your study. This will be submitted as part of your Week 1 assignment.
You will now add your list of operational definitions as well. You will need to define your independent variable(s) and dependent variable(s).

Step 3 – Develop an annotated bibliography to gain a deeper understanding of your overall research topic. For this assignment you will need to find 4 peer-reviewed journal articles through Keiser’s online library for your annotated bibliography. You will submit this portion of your project in Week 2. Please see Annotated Bibliography under week 2 for further direction on how to write an annotated bibliography.
Step 4 – You will convert your annotated bibliography into a literature review.
Step 5 – You will write an abstract that will summarize your introduction and your literature review. The complete project will be due Wednesday of week 4. Please follow the following outline in putting together your finalized paper. It is highly recommended that you use the following sections of the outline as you headings throughout your proposal.
