Discuss the themes of equality, unity, and division in Tadeusz Kościuszko’s “Połaniec Manifesto.” What is their significance? In what contexts do these themes appear? What political situations and groups of people are being referenced? Comment also on how the same themes function in The Constitution of May 3, 1791 and draw a brief comparison.
