  1. Review the Six Steps to Better DSM5 Differential Diagnosis. ATTACHED PDF
  2. Review your vignette (ATTACHED PDF) and identify one other possible co-occurring disorder. Modify your vignette if necessary.
  3. In an APA Style paper provide a Summary with the following:
    1. Primary Diagnosis: Describe the primary diagnosis (BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER) for the case scenario you have been working with since Workshop 1.4. Be sure to include the ICD-10-CM code, the level of Severity (e.g. Mild, Moderate, Severe), and the specifiers (e.g. With dissociative symptoms) that you have identified and that are associated with this diagnosis. 
    2. Differential Diagnosis: Describe the symptoms in the vignette that align with the other possible diagnosis that you have located. Be sure to state the diagnosis and associated code that you want to rule-out (i.e. r/o Generalized Anxiety Disorder (F41.1).
    3. Co-Occurring Disorder (COD): Describe the symptoms in the vignette that align with another possible mental health/substance-related diagnosis. Be sure to state the diagnosis and associated code that you want to include (i.e. Stimulant-Related Disorder – Amphetamine-type substance, Severe (F15.20).
