This is a topic I am passionate about and just want a second take.
You will
submit a document containing exactly two paragraphs identifying your proposed
topic for the dissertation. Your topic must be relevant to the field of
education and directly related to your specific degree program. For example,
students in the Curriculum and Instruction program must choose a topic
relevant to curriculum and instruction, those in Higher Education
Administration must choose a topic relevant to higher education, etc.
· The
first paragraph will identify and discuss the topic, including a brief summary
of its social and historical contexts and its relationship to education.
· The
second paragraph will explain why you consider this a worthwhile topic, which
may include personal experience and research goals. The use of first-person is
appropriate for this paragraph.
At least two
scholarly, peer-reviewed articles published within the past five years must be
cited in the paper with an appropriate references page attached.
The
essay should utilize formal, academic writing standards and adhere to current
APA formatting guidelines.
