I am looking for a research report to link to a literary review for a Teacher as Researcher module . The total review will be 6000 words of which the report conclusion will be around 2000. Looking for critcal / academic examples that will support the aims of this research project.
This
undertaking recreated an ideas workshop with undergraduate performing arts students
and gathered data from a post workshop feedback session. This workshop is a new
area of practice for me, to identify the usefulness of visual stimulus (art images) and personal student objects in a workshop , in an attempt to understand whether this process can have an impact on creativity.
Plus, help to analyse and develop new learning methods in such an interactive
student-based learning experience. It is also about trying to identify
additional ways of utilising the ideas workshop by trying to understand and
investigate the process and outcomes.
A
series of art images will be shown to students with a theme (seven deadly sins) , and they will be asked
to work as a group to use the images as stimulus for the creation of a video
artwork idea. Students will aslo be asked to bring an object of personal signifance and link that object into the idea. At the end, the group will present their idea for a video art work and there will be a
group discussion where the participant learners will be asked to reflect on how
the stimulus helped in the creation of the idea.
The
research objectives are:
β’
To utilise a range of images / objects with the aim at stimulating a creative
response in participants and to identify how visual stimulus / objects help in the creativite process.
β’ To gather data relating to participant reflections on their
perceptions of the creativity of their response and their ability to make
creative connections with others in the group? To promote further discussion in
identifying different ways to generate creative connections.
This research report is for a teacher as researcher course. Creativity and using art / objects as a stimulus in teaching creativity. How art can be used to activate orginal creativity in a student? The psycology of creativity.
