Good to hear from you!
Hope you are keeping well.
So I had a look at your paper, the lit review look a lot better. Methodology needs work.
Literature Review Comments:
In academia the lit review is : A literature review is an evaluative critique of the body of literature on a particular topic. It brings the reader up to date on the range of ideas and knowledge that have been established on a topic, identifying contrasting and opposing views as well identifying any gaps in the current knowledge.
So I am confused about what you think the lit review is within your paper, it almost seems as a methodology. The section you call lit review I think should be eliminated or if anything moved to a methodology section. I think what you call lit review, is what you then data and documentation sources.
So if we look at your table of contents everything from section 1 to 2.3 is your literature Review, does that make sense? So the lit review section you have in there needs to go, or needs to be moved somewhere else.
Your hypotheses go at the end of your lit review so after section 2.3. You need to number your hypotheses. However you also need to think about them very clearly, as you will need to use different methodologies to answer specific hypotheses.
You really need to reference a lot more!
A part form those few things its looking strong
Methodology:
The methodology is a bit messy at the moment, look at journal articles how they actually structure methodologies.
There is a bit of confusion there between your research design and then your approach. The don’t really align. You need to be a lot clearer.
What are you using quant or qual? You are using both so what methodologies follow a qualitative approach and which a quanititaive approach? Why are you using those methodologies to answer your research questions?
You have 6 hypotheses (btw you need to call them H1, H2 and so on) what study answers what Hypotheses. So I think you need to divide your work in Study 1, which uses a qualitative approach and x methodology will answer h1,H2 and so on.
Look at articles how methodologies are linked together to hypotheses and how look at how methodologies are structured.
This is more or less what your methodology section in the content should look like:
7.4 Methodology…………………………………………………
7.4.1 Procedure………………………………………………………
7.4.2 Participants………………………………………………
7.4.3 Measures…………………………………………………………
7. 5 Results Study 1……………………………………………………………………………
I also think you are going to have more than 1 study, so divide them into different studies!
