APA 7th ed. (12 pt. Times New Roman font, double-spaced, 1″ margins) must be used, including:

Headings within the body of the paper
Grammar, spelling, and paragraph construction guidelines

Concisely address the following components of the literature review.
Introduction [1-2 paragraph(s)]
Introduce the topic,
why is there are need to research this topic,
what is important about the topic,
what is missing from the current research?
Evidence-based Practice Question [1 sentence]
This is the question you built your research around.
Selection Procedure (how was the evidence identified) [1 paragraph]
Identify the phrases, words, and search engines used to find the research.
Review of Evidence [3-4 pages]
Include themes as secondary headings (organized by similar findings in multiple sources of evidence)
From the annotated bibliography, identify the common ideas/themes.
There must be at least two (2) themes identified
Address how the literature links with the “patient/family”, its impact on the person and the environment, and how the literature could have an impact on the question being asked
Explain how the literature fits the question.
What are the ideas/actions/processes that can be taken from the literature that will have an impact on the environment the question describes or the people involved?
This section must be synthesized and is NOT the same as an annotated bibliography
Under each theme, there should be multiple sources (articles, websites, data sets, interviews) that blend together to support the theme.
Practice Implications [1-2 paragraph(s)]
Identify actions/activities/interventions/implications that could impact the outcome of the question from the themes, supported by the literature.
What can be done to address the outcome? What specific ‘things’ can be put in place? What actions can be integrated to have a positive outcome?
Conclusion [1-2 paragraph(s)]
Bring all the identified points together, matching up with the introduction and the themes.
