Assignment Instructions:
For this assignment, please choose a contemporary Management Challenge, such as:
Examples Only:
– Globalism- Bottlenecks in logistics
– Ethics (e.g. Goldman Sachs)
– Shortage of microprocessors
– Social responsibility (Pollution)
– Evolution of Electric vehicles (EV)
– Shortage of raw materials (lithium; palladium; nickel)
NOTE: Please do NOT use Wells-Fargo. It has been over used.
Identify a company or organization that you believe has been impacted by a contemporary challenge.
Write a minimum four page paper plus a cover page, and Works Cited page.
Documentation:
Add an End Note (Citation) for any content you have obtained from a third party location.
Place the End Note after the content being documented e.g.
“Four score and seven years ago… shall not perish from this earth.” (Lincoln)
Also have a Works Cited entry for each item
The paper should address these five topics:
Write the questions in bold. Answers in normal type.
– 1 Provide an Executive Overview: Give some background for the organization and what may have led up to the problem.
How did it come about, then answer the following four questions.
– 2) Challenge faced by that company or organization,
– 3) Management’s response to that challenge,
– 4) Your critical analysis of management’s response, and lastly
– 5) How would you have responded to that challenge.
Formatting
This paper should be written in APA format.
Use BOLD paragraph headers for each of the topics above.
Embold the paragraph header for each of the five topics listed above.
Use normal type for your content.
Use 12 point type, double spaced (Please do not single space!)
Use either Arial or Times Roman type font.
Documentation
Include at least five outside sources, three of which should be scholarly journals Use actual articles from journals like Journal of Business Ethics, Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management, etc.). The articles should demonstrate scholarly, critical business analysis.
Works Cited
Your “Works Cited” page should be in alphabetical order, listed by author’s last name.
Citations: In the body of your paper document your research by inserting the author’s name, in parentheses (e.g. Walker), following the data referenced.
Post your finished paper through the ASSIGNMENTS tab. When in doubt document!
