Essay Question: Detecting deceit: ‘Criminal justice
professionals are better at detecting deceit than the general public’
Critically discuss this statement.
Please include psychological theory, and a document with incomplete planning will be attached. All of the planning is copy and pasted from research papers or books, with the doi or book name in blue. The writing in orange is my own, to summerise each reference. Please take into consideration that this plan is incomplete and needs additonal research. I will also attach the lecture slides for this topic, as it includes useful sources and points. Please refer to cognitive load, and maybe discuss whether it is/isn’t utilised by criminal justice professions to relate it to the essay question.
