Franz Kafka Die Vewandlung / Η μεταμόρφωση Übersetzungskritik (in German)

Language: German
The object of this assignment is a comparison of original and translated text.

In the assignment we have to analyze the background of the original text and then the translated text (I will attach the translated text). This means that we must refer to the era (briefly) of the two texts and highlight the characteristics of each one in relation to the respective text. Then let’s analyze the grammatical, stylistic, linguistic and possibly visual differences we find between the two texts, which show us the Skopostheorie that exists behind each text. (the work you prepared did not respond to the topic. The aim is to compare the two texts).

For this point you can see the previous work I have sent you.
In other words, it is possible that in some places the translator has not accurately rendered the meaning of a word, because he is not interested in that, but is interested in rendering the meaning or style of the text.

1. I would like you to add to each section Zitate (vgl. Onoma,2022: selida).
Quote:
– In the life of Kafka. This point needs collapsing.
– On the spot (Felice und Milena)
– At the purple spot
– And in the new spots

2. Introduction.
A few words about the era in which the original was written and the impact the era had on the author in writing the work. Also add: Gattung und Gerne (Jeßing, 2017:133) (I attach it)——-Erzählungsliteratur und Roman respectively.

3. Hauptteil.
The Skopostherie of the translated text is missing (vgl.
However, since Ãœbersetzung is dealing with two different languages (German and Greek) and languages are living organisms that have the specific characteristics of each culture, there are some special difficulties in the Ãœbersetzungsprozess. These difficulties are analyzed in den Kommentare der Hausarbeit.
Or a translator may not have wanted to move towards the same goal of the original text, but may have set a goal of his own, such as not focusing so much on the content of the text, but trying to preserve the morphological elements.

4. Schluss.
A summary of the above and a conclusion are needed here.
Conclusion— Which Ãœbersetzungsmethode was used in the translated text.
1. adaptierende Ãœbersetzung—-die Ãœbersetzung assimiliert den Ausgangstext im Zieltext (translated text).
2. transferierende Ãœbersetzung.

5. Literaturverzeichnis.
There should be a bibliography at the end (see my work for the method). Objective— Comparison of original and translated text.
