“Write a paper on any topic discussed in the text. Try to find something personal to you, something that you want to know a little more about or that you might have experienced. Your topic must be related to Supervision in the Hospitality Industry or Hospitality Human Resources Management. While this is broad, you are given freedom to explore anything you want to know more about. This research paper should go beyond what is covered in the text and should not simply define or review a concept(s) and/or theories. You research paper should demonstrate your ability to critically analyze a concept(s), law(s) or management theory(ies)s and apply knowledge you have gained thus far in this course.
*****Note: turning in a paper on a topic that appears to be for a different class or subject will result in an automatic zero and there will be no opportunity to make the assignment up.******
Guidelines:
Written Component—your paper must be a minimum of three and a maximum of five pages. It should be typed, double-spaced, font 10-12 pt., with margins no larger than 1â€�. Projects should have a professional appearance and be presented as a Word doc or PDF. \”Pages\” files and links to Google docs or externals drives will not be accepted.
You must use a minimum of three sources. You may not use a text book as a source. These sources should be from reputable Professional/Educational Journals or Periodicals. Articles from the internet are acceptable, but they should be from reliable sources. You should list all of your sources at the end of the paper and proper credit should be given to the author of your source using APA format. i.e. Jim Sullivan stated in his article that…… (Sullivan, 2016).
