How to write essay:
-In other words, an exam essay should begin with a thesis stated clearly in the first paragraph, followed by several paragraphs in which you provide evidence supporting your thesis, and end with a conclusion.
-Be sure that you can cite several pieces of evidence in support of your thesis, don’t need to cite any sources
-Begin by writing an introductory paragraph that includes your thesis. Do not waste time restating the question;
Make sure each subsequent paragraph focuses on one central idea that supports your thesis, and state this idea in the first, or topic, sentence. Follow the topic sentence with supporting evidence.
-Be sure to stick to the point. Do not go off on interesting tangents that are irrelevant to the question. Referring frequently to your outline will help keep you on track.
-If you are aware of any counterevidence, make sure you discuss it.
-In the sample assignment, the instructor expects the student to not only analyze both sources and identify their similarities and differences but also draw conclusions about the meaning of those similarities and differences and explain why they are significant.
