In this area of intercultural communication organize a coherent written 6-8-page paper (i.e., not
including references) including a literature review, analyses of the problem, proposal, and
conclusion. REQUIRED COMPONENTS IN THIS ORDER:
1. Title Page includes the title, the author’s name, and a running head.
2. The introduction includes an overview of the paper, including the goals/contributions of the
proposal; no more than one-page long.
3. The background and literature review explain the intercultural communication issue,
what is at stake, what is known about it, and why the topic is important.
4. Theoretical explanation of the mechanisms and concepts that explain your topic
5. Analysis and proposed changes to address the intercultural communication issue
6. 2-3 Conclusions and closing remarks about your analysis
7. References in APA format; begin on a new page
The paper will be evaluated based on the quality of the literature review, the appropriate application
of theories. Paper Format: 6-8 pages, not including Reference. 12-point font, double-spaced,
Times New Roman. Both References and in-text citation need to adhere to APA formatting
style. Minimum 5 references, two of which must be peer-reviewed articles published within
the last five years. As this is a research project, the number of facts found, the number of
sources cited, and the diversity of sources employed are of utmost importance.
