Each original discussion and the peer posting response (follow-up) are worth a total of 12.5 points. Students can earn up to 6.25 points for student original discussion post and 3.13 points for each peer response posting. Discussion points will be awarded once a discussion closes. Points will be based on the analysis of the student’s overall quality of the original post and peer response postings. I will grade discussions based on the following rubrics:

2. The URL link for the article is provided in the citation per the APA Writing Style (Refer to the APA PowerPoint).
3. Are article citations in APA writing style?
4. Is the discussion structured and organized in a logical order (Is the discussion post grammatically correct)?
5. Content Knowledge and Research (Was research discussed in the article addressed, was an example discussed and supported with data from the article, wa the article thoroughly discussed?).
6. Analysis and Evaluation – demonstration of analytical and evaluative originality in creating thoughtful arguments and relating facts in significant and innovative ways?
7. Was the discussion submitted by the due date indicated in the syllabus schedule?
8. The discussion was at least 250 words
