OF ENFORCEMENT AT THE BORDER, ALSO LOOKING INTO I.C.E. AGENCY AND SEEING IF THE AGENCY WAS 
EVER REALLY NEEDED.

Thesis:
With immigration policy comes its enforcement department. The Department of Homeland Security was created after the attacks on 9/11, the purpose of the department was to enforce immigration laws and keep the nation 
safe from any terroristic threat by any means necessary. Looking closely inside the department, there is extensive evidence of abuse of immigrants, abuse of power, and lack of authority within. With everything circling the Department of Homeland Security and its enforcement tactics, was it necessary to create a department that holds itself to very little accountability?
