Final Paper on Selected Clinical Issues (30%)-
Choose
a topic that you are interested in regards to advanced SW practice with
individuals (adults, adolescents or children), families, groups, communities or
organizations. During the 5th class session, your topic will be discussed for
consideration with your professor during a short consultation. These can be
drawn from your field or work experience, individual interests, or among the
many current topics relevant to the field today. They can be policy or
treatment focused. They can be problem-oriented or strengths based.
Examples of appropriate topics may be: The use of drama as a play

The paper should include the following: 1) A clear description of
the social work topic and relevance for advanced social work practice 2)
research findings on current trends 3) a section on areas for further advocacy
in policy and/or practice (be specific with your recommendations.) Think micro,
