In Aeschylus’ Oresteia Trilogy, how does the vengeance model of justice influence the events preceding and taking place in the first two plays, “Agamemnon,” and “Libation Bearers”? In what ways is the rational model of justice introduced in the third play, “Eumenides,” both rational and irrational?
