Step 4. Outline your essay–check to make sure you are writing about the poems, stories, or songs (and not any articles or web readings).
Step 5. Draft your essay. Remember to include an introduction and a conclusion. Your parts A-E should not be in your intro or conclusion since they are your main arguments.
Step 6. Label directly in your essay where you address parts A, B, C, D, & E.
Step 7. Read it out loud to someone and/or have someone read it out loud to you.
Step 8. Revise as needed.
