Objectivec To synthesize theories, concepts, and styles of leadership which you have learned about this semester, into a personal philosophy which will be represented in a final project.
In this final assignment (which will serve as your final exam), you will reflect on what you have learned about your self during this course in terms of your leadership style and potential to demonstrate leadership in your future profession.
Assignment details:
10-12 slides (does not include title slide and reference slide)
In-text citations required
Discussion points to include:
Well-developed personal definition of leadership (compare how you originally defined leadership at the beginning of this course)
Your philosophical approach to leadership with key components discussed and expanded
Synthesis of class readings (textbook and posted readings) and how they have supported your philosophy
Discuss personal/professional experiences which have assisted in your philosophy
Identify 3 strategies which you will continue to implement to develop your leadership skills
Assign a symbol (icon) which you feel displays your leadership philosophy best and provide your rationale to deciding on this symbol
Deliverable:
Research how to record a slideshow in PowerPoint and how to download it to submit it (we will discuss in class as well)
Be sure to practice, practice, practice before your final submission
Entire presentation should be between 7 and 10 minutes
Plan to have a script to read vs. reading from the slides
The slides should be less words and more images; your script will contain all your philosophy, evidence, and thoughtful reflection
You will submit your recorded PowerPoint in mp4 format AND your script in a word document on Canvas by due date
