In what way is the concept of alienation expressed similarly across the texts Notes from Underground, The Metamorphosis, and The Stranger? Also, in what ways is alienation expressed differently across these three texts?

This is the prompt for the essay: In what way is the concept of alienation expressed similarly across the texts        Notes from Underground, The Metamorphosis, and The Stranger? Also, in what ways is alienation expressed          differently across these three texts? Comment analytically on these similarities and differences—in other words,   what do these convergent and divergent expression of alienation mean? Also, explain why might it be useful, or    simply worthwhile, to read books that inspire meditations on alienation.

You will need to cite proof of your ideas in the means of two quotes each from the texts Notes from Underground  by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (the english translation), The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (the english translation) and  The Stranger by Albert Camus. I have included all three books below. I need to turn this in tonight. This is the         grading criteria:

Makes an identifiable, defensible, and interesting claim, thesis, or chain of argument;
Uses 6-8 relevant and supportive quotations (with at least two quotations from each text listed in the prompt);
Offers original and thoughtful analysis;
Is well-organized;
Demonstrates solid reading comprehension (i.e., that you have a clear and strong understanding of all three texts);
Demonstrates good use of language (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.);
Is between 1,000 and 1,600 words;
Avoids vague or otherwise confusing language;
Avoids repetition, excessively long quotations, and other kinds of “filler” or “fluff”;
Demonstrates polish (from thoughtful revision and careful proofreading).
