BRIEF
In this part of the assessment, you will be required to work individually and put together a proposal for an event. You have a choice of what shape the event may take:
• An event taking place on-site of your choice, without social distancing measures
• An event taking place on-site of your choice, with social distancing measures in place
• A virtual event, using a virtual platform of your choice
Your presentation should fulfil the following criteria:
• Clear identification of the event, its aims, and theme providing a creative narrative
• Clear identification of the event team and any other human resources required
• Some reference to budget, costing, and finance necessary
• Clear identification of target audience/customer base, with a clear rationale
• Justification and identification of marketing strategy
• Clear understanding of the legal or regulatory framework within which the event will take place
• Identification of risks, and appropriate risk assessment and risk management strategy
• Clear identification of logistical needs and challenges
• Feasibility for the location of your choice, or the choice of virtual platform
• Feasibility more generally
• Event poster
• More than 1 ICT
