HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW.
1) The topic I found was this: A comparative analysis of nationalism in Turkey and America: Changes in power dynamics throughout history.
This would be an analysis of the differences between nationalism observed in Turkey and America and
how it influenced political power dynamics between the two countries throughout history. First I’d explore
nationalism expressed in Turkey and talk about Ziya Gökalp and the infamous slogan " How Happy I am
to Call Myself a Turk" and its impact. Then I’d also mention the issues faced by minorities in Turkey due
to nationalism. For America, I’d say the conflicts between Federalists and Republican-Democrats and
also explore American nationalism’s impact on Native Americans. Then, I would compare the
development of nationalism in both countries and discuss the similarities as well as differences in terms of
ideology, policies, and the impact of nationalism on the country’s minority groups thus reflecting the
consequences of nationalism in each nation. This paper would draw from chapters 13 and 14 of the book.
2)What I need you to help me with is finding a proper topic sentence (which will also be the title of the paper) from the topic I suggested re-edited or re-adjusted according to your knowledge and preference. THIS IS CRUCIAL.
You also need to find several references and include stuff from Chapter 13 and 14 in the book and use it as a reference as well (the book is written by the professor so you must use it for the paper).
3) I attached the book and you can find it below.
PLEASE let me know what the topic sentence is (eg. A historical study of the Ottoman Response to Western Industrial-Military Growth: Examining the decline of the Ottoman Empire – it should be in this format) BEFORE proceeding with the rest of the paper. The instructions must be followed PRECISELY because the instructor is very STRICT. Thank you in advance.
