Your research report will consist of two parts. The first part will be a literature review where you will describe, evaluate, and synthesize the research in your chosen topic of study, which should be related to I/O Psychology. This section will look like a review article in a journal such as Academy of Management Review. The second part will be a research proposal where you will create 3 hypotheses based on your review of the literature, design a hypothetical study to test it and propose analysis strategies. This second part will look very similar to shortened APA-style Introduction and Method sections of a journal article (see, for example, the Journal of Applied Psychology.)
