Develop a paper topic related to lateral violence, horizontal violence, incivility in nursing, disruptive behavior (this terminology is relatively synonymous with one another). The topic is commonplace in the literature, widely debated as to its extent, causation, and efforts to deal with it. Submit a paper proposal using the guidelines below:
Read the lateral violence paper rubric above and familiarize yourself with the expectations of the paper and the components that you will be grade on.
Identify a lateral violence issue that influences health care delivery. It can be an issue that you are currently experiencing at work, or it can be an issue that you have discussed in class or heard about in the media.
Describe the significance of the issue to you. Why is the issue meaningful to you? Why are you interested in resolving the issue? Why does this issue need to be faced by nursing professionals?
Your paper proposal is to be one (1) page typed, double spaced, 12 point font, in Times New Roman and APA format. Organization of thoughts, sentence structure, grammar, and spelling are all important in this assignment. It does need an appropriate title page.
Do NOT use a Running Head for this proposal, your paper draft or final paper. You must still have a Title Page for all three of these assignments, in appropriate APA formatting, but do not include a Running Head.
