The event that first comes to my mind is how, I was
wrongly put on diversion towards the end of my senior year of high school because
my mom and her then husband (they are drug addicts) refused to take me and my
older brother to school. So, when a meeting was set to figure out why, I was
made to take the fall. It was made to seem like I was a delinquent teenager
instead of them listening to what I was trying to tell them, the diversion officer
thought I was making excuses.
·
Starting point? Toward the end, spring time of
my senior year
·
End point? I graduated and moved out.
·
Where did the event take place? at our home, at the high school, and the
detention center.
·
Who was there? My brother, myself, my mom,
school counselor, diversion officer, and my stepdad.
·
Was there a conflict? Yes, no one would listen
to us about what was going on at home.
·
Resolution? I was able to prove them wrong by
continuing to receive good grades despite previously missing a lot of school,
checking in with my diversion officer when I was supposed to, and graduating too
finally be on my own.
