Select two of the live action remakes from the list above. In your essay, compare how the characters of the
princesses/heroines relate to the prince/heroes and or mothers or fathers have/evolved from the relationships in
the animated films. How does the personalities and behavior of the princesses/heroines reflect the
empowerment of women in 21st century U.S. society?
