- What trend do you see in the data points? How does this trend inform us? Explanation of the trend should discuss the variability, stability, direction, and fluctuations of the trend.
- Is there a comparison benchmark available? Does the organization use a national benchmark as a target? If no benchmark is available, then search the literature for a recent similar benchmark that could be used to compare and contrast the organization’s trend.
