Op-Ed Paper Content
Please submit your op-ed as an editable document (Google Doc, Sharepoint, Dropbox, etc.).
Your op-ed draft should meet the following criteria:
– Submit a full draft of your op-ed (500-800 word). This is the minimum and maximum length, so please write at least 500 words, but do not go over 800.
– In your op-ed, you should have a clear argument for health policy advancements, identifying a specific bill currently being considered in the CT legislature.
– Support your argument with evidence (quotes from real people, news stories, academic articles, databases, etc.). Provide hyperlinks in text to your sources. No need to provide a reference page – make sure your hyperlinks work.
– Provide a scene or hook at the beginning of your op-ed and a strong concluding paragraph
