The objective of this assignment is to analyze the way Shakespeare addresses human traits of love, jealousy, and weakness in humanity. As you read the play and, if you like, watch the play, you can see how he uses theme, dialogue, character, and other elements of drama to create a beautiful play. He addresses the concept of love- both family and romantic, jealousy on several levels, and various examples of weakness in otherwise strong people.

2. Analyze the way Shakespeare develops the concept of love, jealousy, and weakness in humanity in the play (2 pages, double spaced). Be sure to consider the elements of drama discussed in Chapter 7 in your analysis.
