In this assessment, you will explore the future of training and development with a focus on the impact of advances in technology.
Instructions
Select two of the following training technology topics:
- Wearables (smartwatches, smartbands, smart glasses).
- Artificial intelligence / Internet of Things (IoT).
- Telepresence.
- Tin Can API.
Complete the following for each technology:
- Describe each of technology, including information such as who developed it and what it does.
- Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the two forms of technology.
- Project how this technology will be used in the future in a selected industry.
- Discuss the implications of these two forms of technology on trainers and training designers.
