Instead of a final exam, students will complete a research assignment
and present their work to their peers in the form of a virtual, pre-recorded
video (see next section). Working individually, each student
will complete and a scholarly research paper exploring the health problems and
programs of any nation except the United States. Regional comparisons with two
neighboring countries and/or global comparisons with the United States and one
other country outside the region is acceptable. Students will submit a well
referenced narrative (in APA format), no more than 10 pages (5 pages
minimum) long that should follow the sub-headings below. A reference page
listing sources of information must be provided. The instructor will approve
topics before this assignment is completed. You will be evaluated on the
