TED Talks are “ideas worth spreading� and feature over 4,100 presentations on a wide range of topics.

First, visit the TED website Links to an external site. and select one TED Talk. You can select a presentation on any topic as long as the talk was delivered on the TED or TEDx stage. Watch your chosen TED Talk as many times as you need, taking notes as needed.

In your initial post this week, address all of the following:

  1. Share the title and presenter of your chosen TED Talk.
  2. Share a link to your chosen TED Talk, so we can watch the presentation.
  3. Identify examples of the ethos, pathos, and logos employed in the TED Talk. How does the presenter use the ethical appeal? The emotional appeal? The logical appeal?
  4. Using vocabulary from our course, what are the three elements of the presentation that worked best?
  5. Using vocabulary from our course, what are three elements of the presentation that could be improved upon?
