There are two major components to the paper:
1) a 2,500 word essay that is based on reviews of literature
from political psychology that engages with 8 academic journal articles (1 book will count towards 3 articles);
2) a 1,500 word section where the student proposes a research design that they believe will utilize the lens of
psychology to better understand the political problem being studied. There are many journals that study
