Case study: A patient is admitted to a unit on a hospital floor after being beaten at a bar. While at the bar, he was involved in a fight with guys of another racial group (racial group X). It turns out that Nurse Janet Smith (also a member of racial group X) is caring for him. The patient takes out his frustration on Janet and directs various racial slurs at her as she cares for him. This makes Janet angry for several reasons. After he is medicated, she decides to take photos of the patient’s beaten face and she then downloads the pics on Facebook for all to see. You are a nurse at the hospital where Janet works and you are one of Janet’s Facebook friends and discover the pics.
