- An overview of the roles leaders and other stakeholders play in crafting the agency’s budget.
- An evaluation of the increasing national debt and/or underfunded state public pensions as potential crises in the public sector.
- Length should be 4-5 pages, excluding cover page and references; typed double spaced in 10-12 point font (Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman are acceptable).
- Use proper APA style throughout and citations and references for the paper.
- Assignment should follow the conventions of Standard English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.).
- Writing should be well ordered, logical and unified, as well as original and insightful.
- Your work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics.
- Appropriate citation style should be followed.
The purpose of the Budgeting Assignment is to allow you to answer the question “what is budgeting” in the field of public administration through analysis of the agency or organization that you are focusing upon throughout this course.
