answer the following questions: 1. Note that the first and second documents refer to General Garay as being pivotal in saving the lives of a number of prisoners. He and the woman known as the Angel of Goliad worked tirelessly to spare the lives of many of the prisoners. Do the documents clarify their motive? Please explain your response.

2.The Angel of Goliad is described using many names (Francita, Francisca, Panchita, or Pancheta/Panchita with surname Alavez, Alvarez, or Alevesco), but her real name is somewhat obscure. How do the people in these first-hand accounts describe her? What was her real situation? Does this influence your perception of her? Explain your response.
3.Does John C. Duval’s account of the events leading up to the Goliad Massacre support the description as given by Andrew Boyle? What details does Duval add? Was he supportive of Fannin? Critical of Fannin? Or neutral? Explain your response and provide support from the readings.
?Finally, create your own question relating to any of the documents or all of the documents. What would you like to see addressed? Be specific.
Note: no citations needed, lecture or in the PDF file(angle of Goliad )
